The
operations team will be making a change to the Web SMS Email Delivery
Notifications and Failed Delivery Notifications. The change is simply the email address
that the notification comes from. Currently the email comes from MobileNumber@esendex.net; we are
going to change the address to MobileNumber@noreply.esendex.net.
This change is necessary because if certain conditions are met and someone
replies to an email fromMobileNumber@esendex.net
this can create a large loop of emails
that will affect the performance of the customers email system.
With the MobileNumber@noreply.esendex.net
change what will happen if you reply to an email from this address is that the
reply will go to a “catch-all” mailbox on our mail server. This catch all will
prevent the large loop of emails described above. We will be deleting these replies on a regular
basis.
